| JSSM protests against centre’s remarks on Ram Setu | | | Early Times Reporter

Jammu State Student Morcha (JSSM) today held a protest demonstration against the UPA Govt expressing their anger over remarks made by the Centre on Ram Setu issue.
The agitating students said that the remarks have ignited the religious and mythological sentiments of Hindus.
The protester also torched the effigy of UPA Govt. Sunil Sharma, state president, JSSM who led the protest demonstration, said that Centre’s remarks that there was no scientific sign of construction of Ram Setu have hurted their sentiments.
Sharma said that this sort of ridiculous stand by the UPA govt for only promoting trade through aquatic medium between India and Sri Lanka has raised question over the construction of mythological Ram Setu by Lord Rama and his “Vanar Sena”.
Leaders of JSSM warned that they have not tolerated this attention of the central govt and will fight to save Ram Setu.
