| Bhim inaugurates Haq-Insaf Markaz at Srinagar | | Panthers demands ceasefire during Ramadhan | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar Sept-11- To provide urgent, speedy and free legal and social service to the suffering people of Kashmir who remained deprived of justice and equity for decades , Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Supremo Prof Bhim Singh today inaugurated first ever ‘Haq-Insaf’ markaz at Rajbagh Srinagar on the sidelines of the party’s one day conference. In his inaugural address at the convention Prof Singh appealed the people of Jammu and Kashmir to forget the dark trauma of the past and work for the promotion of the bonds of human love, dignity and brotherhood which has been the hallmark of the state’s history and the culture. He assured that the Haq Insaf markaz would do its best to ensure that justice flow to every home and heal the wounds of silent souls in Kashmir . On this occasion, the party also passed several resolutions urging Prime Minister to announce a cease fire during the holy month of Ramadan in response to the changing mood of the youth of the people. He reminded the PM that it was after 18 years that Janam Ashtami procession was taken out through the streets of Srinagar without any disturbance. In another resolution, the party has expressed full sympathy and support to the unemployed doctors, engineers and technocrats, condemned the police brutality on the Talwara migrants, grant of general amnesty to all the prisoners who have been rotting in various jails, implementation of CMP, ensuring dignified return of Kashmiri migrants, restoration of encroached immovable property of the migrants besides compensation under SRO 43 to all the victims of terrorism in the state by completely condoning the time factor and so called limitation factor. The convention among others was attended by state office bearers, provincial, district and block level office bearers including B A Kathu, Daljit Singh, Haji Abdul Khaliq, Nazir Ahmed Mir, Dr Mohammed Iqbal Wani, Manzoor Ahmed Dar, Syed Rafiq Shah, A R Parra, Sona Ullah Beigh, Mumtaz Ahmed and Gowhar Ahmed.
