One person was found dead in mysterious circumstances in posh Trikuta Nagar colony here today. The deceased had been identified as Sardar Singh son of Lena Singh resident of Trikuta Nagar.
According to reports, Sardar Singh today morning went to Gurdwara from his residence but did not return back. His family members started searching him and later found his body from a canal near the Gurdwara.
According to eye witnesses the deceased had some injury marks on body creating doubts about his murder. Police after receiving information rushed to the spot and shifted the body to GMC for postmortem the report of which was still awaited. The body was later handed over the body to deceased’s family members.
Police have registered a case u/s 174 in this regard and started investigating.
