| Milk producers on Amul Yatra | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 11 Chairman Jammu and Kashnir Milk Producers Co-operative Limited, Dr Mohd Deen flagged off 50 milk producers of the state for Amul yatra today from railway Station, Jammu. These milk producers would visit milk co-operatives of Amul while staying at Anand, Gujrat,. The purpose of organizing the Amul yatra is for gaining first hand experience for the milk producers of the state. On the occasion, Chairman JKMPCL expressed happiness and appealed to milk producers of the state that as dreamt by the state government, JKMPCL would make all efforts through milk co-operatives to achieve the objective of “Khushhal Kashmir”. He appealed to milk producers that while visiting cooperative villages of Amul, they shall learn dynamics from the milk producers of Amul for creating success saga of Amul. He said that we have proactive support of Gujrat Co-operative Milk Marketing Lmt. (Amul) and as our milk producers are very enthusiastic hence we would also achieve the success of Amul by replicating it. He said that co-operative working in the milk co-operatives is the key to success and in true spirit co-operatives at villages be managed by the milk producers. Mr Deen informed the milk producers that JKMPCL is paying remunerative price to the milk producers at their doorsteps and now need is to increase participation of milk producers in the management of milk co-operative. Deputy Registrar Co-operatives (Agri), Jammu, Shubra Sharma also attended the function and assured that co-operative department will assist milk producers to establish milk co-operatives with full commitment.
