| Niaz shocked over boat capsizing | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu|Sep12 Mohammad Sharief Niaz, MLC & Ex. Minister for Power has expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic accidental death of three school going children while crossing over the river Chenab near village Marssoo near Assar of Doda district when a boat on which they were traveling got capsized. He has conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and eternal peace to the deported souls. In a statement Niaz charged administration responsible for this unfortunate incident. He said that there are some ‘black sheep’ in the administration. who are trying to sabotage the developmental initiatives and programmes taken up by the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in the state. Azad on his tour to Doda District was kind enough to announce the construction of both these foot bridges on the demand raised by the public and necessary sanction was accorded by him being Chairman of the JKSPDC during last year, but it was unnecessarily delayed due to lack of sel1se of responsibility in the administration which is a matter of great concern. Niaz demanded that both these bridges may be constructed immediately and bridle path on both side of the bridges be got executed at an earliest and in the meanwhile proper transportation facilities be provided to the inhabitants to avoid any such untoward incidents in future.
