| Kidnapped girl recovered, Principal absconding | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 12 Bari Brahmna police today recovered the kidnapped girl from Himachal Pradesh during a raid while the Principal of a local school managed to escape from the spot. According to reports last night the girl telephoned her family members that she was in Himachal Pradesh. On receipt of the information the family members informed the police and a police team along with the family members rushed to Himachal Pradesh where police recovered the girl from a hotel. However, the Principal who had kidnapped the girl, managed to escape from the spot. Reports said later police took the girl to Bari Brahmna police station for questioning. Sources said the girl told police that the Principal forcibly kidnapped her and took her out of the state. Later, police sent the girl to hospital for medical checkup and is investigating the matter. It may be recalled that on September 9, the family members of the 19- year old girl namely Netasha Bamotra resident of Bari Brahamna, lodged a complaint in local police station that 45 year Rakesh Singh Jamwal son of Attar Singh Jamwal resident of Badodi Principal of the New Light Higher Secondary School kidnapped their daughter from the area when she was on way to Jammu and Police after receiving the complaint registered a case under section 366 RPC under FIR No 76/2007 and started investigation and today recovered the girl from Himachal Pradesh. Reports said police also launched a hunt to nab the principal who was still untraced.
