Sharp today launched its Solar Business in India. As per press release Sharp, is constantly exploring new frontiers of technology. With the invention of the Ever-Sharp Pencil, the company has to its credit many of world’s firsts such as mass production of televisions, electronic calculator, superheated water oven and LCD TV.
Sharp began research on solar cells in 1959 almost 48 years ago.
Speaking at a press meet T. Mori, chairman of Sharp operations in India said, “Driving cleaner and greener technologies is part of the social responsibility taken by Sharp.
