| Two day workshop held at JU | | | Early Times Reporter
Department of Computer Science in collaboration with Academic Staff College organized two day workshop for academic administrators in computers.
Head of the departments of various colleges, principals and administrative officers of the university participated in the workshop. The main objective of the workshop is to stress upon the need of Information Technology in administration and management particularly in the field of education. The participants shall get some working experience of certain tools and applications relevant in understanding and implementation of Information Technology (IT).
Prof. BL Kalsotra, chief guest on the occasion stressed upon the need of organizing such workshops regularly. He also appreciated the efforts taken by the Academic staff college and the department of Computer Science &IT in spreading the IT awareness among the academic administrators.
Dr PS Pathania , Direction , Academic Staff College and Prof.Devanand , Head Department of Computer Science and IT assured that such type of workshops shall be planned regularly for the benefit of the academic faculty and staff. Prof. Ajeet Angral, President College teachers association was also presented on the occasion.
