College Development Council organized workshop on enriching and strengthening BCA programme to improve the quality of various programmes being offered by the affiliated colleges.
Director Colleges Development Council, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam highlighted the need for making the BCA programme, a flagship undergraduate programme. After various discussions and delebrations, it was resolved that steps be taken to improve the brand image of the course and make it more job oriented by updating the syllabi in sync with market demands, increasing emphasis on industry, synergizing public-private partnership, better coordination between higher and technical education, J&K State Government, the University of Jammu and its affiliated colleges , introducing innovative distinctive practices, offering real time projects to the students and laying emphasis on placements.
Dr. Devaannand Head of the Department computer Sciences Jammu University, Dr. Ajit Angral, President College teachers association and HODs of the affiliated government and private colleges offering BCA programme also attended the workshop
