| JU to hold athletics trials on Sept 19 | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Sep 13Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu has decided to conduct athletics trials (men and women) to raise the teams for the forthcoming inter-university competitions.
The trials in men section for both field and track events shall take place at the University grounds on September 19 from 10 am onwards, said Assistant Director Physical Education, Dr Sonam Angchuk.
He further said that in the women’s section, the trials shall be conducted by a team of experts on the next day i.e. September 20 at the same venue and time.
After selecting teams in both the categories, the Department of Physical Education will organize coaching camps to improve the skills of the athletes.
