Rotary Club together with Art of Living Organisation celebrated vanmahotsaw, by planting 5000trees in schools and residential areas involving students and staff members, a release from the club said. It may be opportune to mention here to that Rotary Club is committed to serve the humanity worldwide, to make life livable.
The reduction of forest cover, in Jammu city, from 45% to 8% is a cause of concern, as it is responsible for extreme pollution and weather conditions, the release added.
Rotary Club Tawi has decided to restore the forest cover of the city by planting trees all over, added the release.
The Rotary team was led by president Jatinder Gandhok and comprised of Director Community Services AS Modi, Chairman Tree Planting , Harbans Singh,IPP RK chauhan,Jt. Secy and Project Coordinator Mehta Addep Singh Chairman Prem Shanker, Chairman SS Suri, Director Vocation Services PS Jaggi, Secy Dushyant Choudhary and
Dir. Rotary Foundartion BB Jolly and other Rotary members.
The AOL Organisation was led by Ranjan, Pankaj, Aggarwal and many otherts.
