40 pc, more disabled not entitled to cash assistance
SJC of JMC takes several decisions

Physical handicapped persons with 40 percent and above disability shall not be considered for cash assistance but would be provided with tri-cycles and wheels chairs. The decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of the social justice standing committee of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) which was held today under the chairmanship of Deep Kumar Bhardwaj. The meeting also took several decisions.
The meeting impressed upon the finance and planning committee to enhance the annul funds from Rs. 20 lakh per annum to Rs. 50 lakh so that schemes already launched could be completed.
In another decision the committee impressed upon the Chief Accounts Officer to direct all councilors to submit their accounts incurred on purchase of sewing machines, stationery kits at the earliest failing which they shall not been entitled for further schemes.
The meeting was attended by Dwarka Choudhary, M.S. Jamwal, Hardeep Singh Manhas, Rashida Begum, Neelam Kumari, Inderjeet Kour and Narsingh Dass.
