Maxis communication denies news items

Maxis communication in a press statement has denied a news report that organization was planning to exit from its Aircel services in India.
According to press release issued today, Maxis has categorically denied the news item carried in a section of press that the Maxis communication is going to exit from Air cell services. The release further said, that no representative from Aircel or Maxis had any discussion with Reliance Group in this regard.
The release further says that Maxis communications is committed to the Indian telecommunication market as a long term investor, together with Apollo Group the Indian partner. Maxis is accelerating investments in network infrastructure to further develop Aircel as a strong Pan-Indian operator in the country.
