JAMMU | AUG 14:
Condemning the recent killings of civilians, both by the militants and the security forces, the Chairman of People’s Union for Civil Liberties Balraj Puri has demanded a probe to find out the reality.
Referring to killing of three innocent civilians by the security forces by ‘mistake’ in Kupwara and a youth near Dalgate whose identity is still a controversy as also the killing of a civilian in cross firing in Mendhar, he said all these killings need to be probed to know the reality. He also criticized the police attack on the protest meeting of the students in Amar Singh College Srinagar.
Puri in a hand out also condemned the killing of three members of a Hindu family in Gool area of Udhampur by the militants and described it as a brutal act.
