| Piara Singh resigns from President-ship | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
JAMMU | AUG 14:
Ch Piara Singh today resigned as President J&K Motor Transport Association Jammu owing to the deteriorating functioning of the Association as also due to some health problems.
In a handout, Singh said that he has been observing for last few months that as many as eight groups of transporters have started functioning individually leading to some confusion and owing to some health problem and a great set back due to the death of Dr Neelam Choudhary, his daughter-in-law followed by other multiple reasons, he was not in to position to continue on the post of President of the Association and hence resigned from the post today.
