Shopian, July 18: Suspected militants reportedly attacked the house of a Policeman in Keegam area of Shopian district late last night. Police have taken cognizance in this regard and started investigations.
According to sources the unidentified gunmen fired indiscriminately upon the house of Policeman in Keegam locality of Shopian district of Kashmir late last night resulting injuries to the cop. "The injured Policeman has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf who received critical bullet injuries, police sources said, adding, "he was immediately evacuated to a Srinagar hospital in a critical condition." Meantime the concerned police have registered a case in this regard.
