CADP suspends K Oil supply to 17 dealers

UDHAMPUR | AUGUST 14:

Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department (CAPD) has recovered a fine of Rs.13,700 and suspended supply to 17 kerosene oil dealers in the district during its inspections .
This was stated at a meeting held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner to review the supply position of rations and other essential commodities in the district.
The meeting was informed that sufficient quantity of essential commodoties were available in the district which included 4742 quintals of wheat, 206 quintals of atta, 9900 quintals of rice and 2500 quintals of sugar.
Instructions were given to the Tehsil Supplies Officers to further monitor the distribution system and ensure distribution of rations to the genuine rationees. They have also been asked to submit their weekly progress reports about their activities and the action taken against the hoarders, profiteers and black marketers.
