Tourists relish Ladakhi dishes

To promote Ladakhi dishes among domestic and foreign tourists during Ladakh festival, eight Ladakhi food stalls were established by Ama Tsogspa belonging to village Domkhar, Ledo, Leh and Maney Sermo.
Gurpur Tea, Veg and non Veg Mok-Mok, Paba, Tangthur, Tapoo Khambir, Yoza etc are available at the stalls.
During first to 14th day of the festival about 5000 customers enjoyed Ladakh dishes while visiting these stalls a revenue of over Rs. 4 lacs were realized.
President, Ama Tsogspa Domkhar Smt. Tsering Dolkar said that their stalls has earned about Rs. 60,000/- during the festival period saying that most of the ingredients of the ladakh foods were of local produce.
The president of different Ama Tsogspa suggested that Ladakhi food should be introduced in the hotels and restaurants which will give boost to Ladakhi dishes.
