| Samba police on high alert | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
SAMBA | AUGUST 14:
On the eve of Independence Day celebrations Samba police have been put on high alert.
According to reports the Jawans of the police have been deployed in various places in strength in the area, and massive searches are being conducted. All the operations are under the supervision of SDPO, Samba Abrar Choudhary.
While, talking to ‘Early Times’, the SDPO, said, that a number of nakas have been laid in the area, and vehicles are being thoroughly checked by the police. He said, police personnel and members of village defence committees have been deputed for night and strict vigil is kept on National Highway and link roads along with the border.
