Jammu and Kashmir Shiromani Akali Dal has demanded action against the Patwari, Suraj Parkash, alleged involved in several graft cases
Addressing a joint press conference here today, Gurdev Singh, President, SAD demanded stern action against the patwari, Suraj Parkash, against whom many graft cases has been registered in the Crime Branch and SVO Jammu. Singh disclosed that the Suraj Parkash , Patwari Halqa chatha, in connivance with the other officials, is extracting money illegally from the land owners. He said the said Patwari is demanding money as commission, from the land owners whose land has been acquired by the government.
Singh also disclosed that the Suraj Parkash, has amassed crores of rupees in connivance with his seers and peers, by attesting illegal mutations of lands and the state government officials are afraid to take action against the Suraj Parkash, due to excess with the higher ups.
Amrik Singh has appealed the Chief Minister to personally look into this matter earliest and take stern action such public servants which are making the mockery of the government orders, otherwise the SAD will be forced to adopt the path of agitation.
