Jammu | Sep 15 : Two women pugilists Jammu and Kashmir Police have been selected in the All India Police Board boxing team taking part in the 8th National Women Boxing Championship to be held at Rudarpur in Uttrakhand.
The championship has been scheduled from October 8 to October 12. Both these boxers, Anita Devi and Simmi Sharma have been selected in the Indian Police team on the basis of their performance, a notification issued by the All India Police Sports Control Board said. Simmi Sharma is also a gold medalist in the Senior All India Women Boxing Championship held at Nainital in May this year.
