| Four police officials awarded | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
Rajouri August ,16:
Four police officials were awarded Shre-e-Kashmir Police Medal for Gallantary on the eve of Independence day celebration organized in the ( DPL )ground District Police Line in the presence of nearly 10 thousand people gathered on occasion .
Dy. SP H/Q K.S.Jasrotia ,Dy. SP.(Ops) T.R. Katoch ,HC Mohd Sharif , Sget Punjab Singh were honored with the SKPMG Awards .
It is pertinent to mention here that Rajouri police succeeded in killing 73 militants during a short span of three years and they have been encouraged and by awarding medals because all the operations were conducted under these two officers , disclosed T.R.Katoch Dy. SP (Ops) to this correspondent . He further informed that Rajouri police have succeeded in eliminating district and divisional commanders operating in the region in addition to most of the foreigner militants .He was of the opinion that this region is on its way to destination of peace and they assured to maintain peace in the near future as reverse counting in killing of the militants have started |
