Three employees were injured when they were allegedly attacked by some unidentified timber smugglers at Thath Boon near Tral.
Sources said that a team of forest official from Lidder Division was on a routine patrolling in the area. The team reportedly observed some persons smuggling timber on three horses and tried to chase them.
However, sources added, the smugglers attacked the employees leading injuries to three of them. Though the assailants escaped from the spot, forest officials seized the smuggled timber and horses.
