| Inter-house debate competition on COTPA held at GHSS Budhi | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 8: The NSS unit of Government Higher Secondary School Budhi organized Inter- house competition on Cigerattes & Other Tabbaco Products Act (COTPA) here at school premises.
All the four participants spoke in detail, the harmful effects of Cigerattes & Other Tabbaco Products. NSS Volunteers made fantastic and self explanatory Slogans to give the message of ill-effects of Smoking.
While speaking Satish Chandel Sr.Lecturer Physics explained in detail about "COTPA- 2003" and also motivated students to spread this message of 'No Smoking' in their vicinity. Principal Naresh Sharma in his address appreciated the efforts of NSS Volunteers, Programme Officer & Staff to organize the programme and impress upon the students to implement this Act in letter and spirit. Later on, he presented the prizes among the participants. |
