Indian Air Force is completing 75 years of glorious service to the nation next month on October 8. As a part of ongoing platinum jubilee celebration of Indian Air Force, an Aquatic meet was organized at Air Force Station here today..
After addressing the station personnel Group Captain JS Kler, Station Commander declared the Aquatic meet open for Air Force Personnel and their families. More than 200 air warriors and 100 Air Force children, enthusiastically took part in the various competitions of the meet. Wing Commander Bapiraju, Chief Administrative Officer, Air Force Station Jammu who was the chief coordinator for the Aquatic meet said that various events such as 50 meters, 25 meters free style, butterfly, back stroke, relay and diving competitions are being conducted.
