| Pidilite invites applications from schools all over India | | | Mumbai, August 16th:
As part of Creative Craft initiative, Pidilite is
organising the 'International Creative Craft Contest 2006' to celebrate and
reward excellence in Arts & Crafts. The contest kick starts with the school
round on August 22-25, 2006, followed by the zonal and international rounds.
The Contest is being organised in 42 cities across India and 4 international
locations - UAE, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The International Craft
Champion chosen will get an opportunity to visit an international location.
The contest is endorsed by the Department of Science & Technology,
Government of India.
Creative Craft is an initiative of Pidilite Industries Limited to spread
awareness, knowledge and skill in the field of Arts and Crafts. It is also
intended to serve as a platform to encourage, nurture and showcase such
awareness and talent.
For the young mind, Creative Craft helps to develop 3 key faculties -
cognitive, creative and motor, which are central to their physical and
mental development enabling finer human expressions.
Covering a gamut of activities, ranging from Art and Craft curriculum for
schools to contests like International Creative Craft Contest, Creative
Craft intends to encourage and nurture artistic awareness and talent among
school students.
