| Facilitating factors for Indo-Pak bonhomie should be encouraged | | | Early Times Reporter SRINAGAR | Sep 18 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) believes ceasefire and troop reduction as important confidence building measures which are interconnected with each other. This was stated by PDP senior vice president Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari while presiding over a meet of Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal district office bearers, at party head office here today. While urging for an insistent need of cease fire Ansari observed that cease fire will cater to the social sufferings and vital political imperatives which should be taken into consideration for strengthening Indo-Pak bonhomie. He further remarked that intransigence factors should not be allowed to dominate and facilitating factors for peace and amity between the two neighbouring countries should be encouraged for overall social, political and economic dimensions in sub continent. The meeting was attended by party general secretary Nizam-u-Din Bhat, Abdul Rehman Veeri, state secretary Nazir Ahmad Bakshi, Ishteyaq Qadri and PDP political secretary Peerzada Mansoor Hussain.
