PDP condoles SS Teg’s demise

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock and grief over the sad demise of Sant Singh Teg referring him a veteran freedom fighter.
Teg's demise, the party said, has created a vacuum in political circle of the state. PDP senior vice president president Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, party general secretary Abdul Rehman Veeri, Nizam-u-Din Bhat and other leaders of the party today expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the party has expressed its solidarity with its zonal president Kangan Ghulam Mohammad Dar whose mother passed away on September 17. In a condolence meeting of all Zonal and Halqa Presidents presided over by district president Srinagar Sheikh Abdul Rehman, the party expressed its solidarity with the bereaved family. The corporators of the district also attended this meet.
