| Lt. Gen. Sapru inaugurates Sainik Camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
JAMMU | JULY 1
Man Singh Vihar Sainik Institute established at Akhnoor under the aegis of Cross Sword Division. The Sainik Institute was inaugurated by Lt. Gen. Tej Kumar Sapru, General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps at simple ceremony today.
The Institute has been created as part of overall drive towards improving the quality of life in military garrisons.
The facilities created in the institute include a multi gymnasium, computer training centre, TV room, basket ball court, volley ball court, table tennis table and children park besides providing a place for social interaction for the families. Institute would address the aspirants of 500 families of JCOs /OR residing in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the Corps Commander appreciated the efforts of the formation and encouraged the families to avail the facilities to the maximum.
