| JU postpones athletics trials | | | Early Times Reporter

Directorate of Physical Education, University of Jammu has postponed the athletics trials (men and women) to select the team for the all India inter-university athletics competitions. The next date will be decided later on.
Trials (men) which were scheduled for today could not take place after a communiqué from the Association of Indian University (AIU) conveying the authorities concerned that the competitions scheduled for next month have been postponed.
“We received the letter from AIU two days back informing us that the host Kerela University has declined to organize the event on account of unavoidable technical reasons thus forcing us to postpone the selection trials,” said Assistant Director Physical Education, Dr Sonam Angchuk.
