Jammu, Aug 20: To excel its student's with the knowledge of specialized and unconventional simulations and to discuss on thought provoking agendas, Jodhamal Public School sent their delegation of 13 delegates to the 10th Annual Doon School Model United Nations Conference 2016 to Dehradun escorted by Bhawna Madaan Faculty Advisor and Irfan Choudhary the escort teacher.
Jodhamal delegation was the sole delegation from Jammu and Kashmir for the DSMUN 2016 Conference in which the delegates were engaged with thirteen diverse committees from the regional to the international agendas covering a range of time periods.
Many different schools like The Indian High School, Dubai, Welham Boy School, Dehradun, Welham Girls School, Dehradun, Rato Bangla School, Nepal, Navrachna International School, Vadodra, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Delhi, Mayo College Girls, Ajmer, The British School, Delhi, The Gems Modern Academy, Dubai, Unison World School and many others participated in the DSMUN 2016 Conference.
The delegates Harsimar Kaur and Nimisha Shukla won the best delegates in the respective committees. Shrija Jhinkwan, Vidhur Kumar and Dhvani Gupta won the honourable mention and Kshitij Sethi and Gunjan Singh won the verbal commendation.
The other delegates like Mudabbir Latifi, Muhamad Raza, Dravin Mahajan, Razeen Haneef, Dhairya Choudhary, Vasu Sharma were highly appreciated by the faculty advisor of DSMUN 2016.
Principal Trilok Singh Bist felicitated the students in a special assembly wherein all Muners shared their experience and the youngest Muners Mohammad Mian Raza and Muddabir Latiffi showcased so much of the confidence being the youngest Muners in The Doon School being just 12 year kids of class VII, the Principal gave a special pat to the little ones. |
