| Sadhotra concerned over rising unemployment | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 19 In a statement issued here today Provincial President J&K National Conference – Ajay Sadhotra has expressed serious concern over the rise in unemployment among youth. He said coalition government has failed to provide employment to the unemployed youth despite the fact that they have promised with the youth to provide employment. Coalition government has adopted anti youth policy and government has also failed to provide employment to the unemployed youth in different self employment schemes. During National Conference rule President J&K National Conference- Omar Abdullah as the then Union Minister has brought a package in the state to give fillip to the economic development of the state and provide employment to the local youth. At that point it was decided that 90% youth from the state shall get employment in the industries installed with the incentive package but the industrialists have enjoyed to the local youth. He alleged government have connived with the industrialists and ignored the local youth. He has appealed the government to rise to the occasion and ensure that the industries who have enjoyed the incentive of the package shall provide 90% jobs to the local youth following which government should take stern action against defaulters keeping in view fast rising unemployment.
