| ABVP launches membership drive | | | Early Times Reporter

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarithi Parishad (ABVP) today commenced its “Membership Drive” which aimed to strengthen the organization in state and to spread the party policies in a all spheres.
Suresh Magotra, member, national executive committee on inaugural day said that the ABVP was founded soon after independence with the objective of channelising students’ energies in the task of national reconstruction.
He added that the Parishad has emerged as a stable organization in Jammu University of floating population of students and perhaps no social organization has its members changing so quickly and regularly as the ABVP has.
He further said that apart from organizing a lot of constructive and meaningful activities and helping to solve the problems related to student and educational field, the Parishad has played an important role in highlighting and solving larger problems of the state.
Highlighting various initiatives, he said that they have been committed to stand against any sort of problems with the students in any educational institution and past revealed that any attack against student against student community not tolerated from our part.
The coming days would witness a more active, meaningful and effective participation by the ABVP in the task of national reconstruction and the state as well as and its citizens would feel proud of such a role of the ABVP, Suresh added
