KC Public School students made clean sweep in the CBSE North Zone Swimming Championship organized by Remal Public School, New Delhi. About 450 participants from 76 schools of Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, J&K and Delhi participated in this meet including KC Public School. KC Public School won 31 medals-4 gold, 10 silver and 17 bronze and got 137 points and 4th position in overall Championship in this meet.

Shivesh Mattoo – 2 Silver, 1 Bronze, Rohit Kapoor – 2 Bronze, Raghav Sawhney – 1 Bronze, Raghav Gandotra – 1 Gold, 1 Silver, Bhanu kPratap – 1 Bronze, Rudraksh Gupta – 1 Silver, Manik Wanchoo – 1 Bronze, Oshin Belove – 1 Bronze, Aakriti Gulati – 1 Gold, Shaivya Manhas -1 Bronze, Urvashi Sharma – 1 Silver, Ashriya Kalra – 1 Bronze Samriti Babbar – 1 Silver.
Samriti Babar, Lakshmi Suri, Vatsalya Singh, Namita Singh participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Girls) U-12 and won 2 silver medals. Rudraksh Gupta, Karan Gupta, Bhanupratap Singh, Rishab Gupta participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Boys) U-14 and won 2 Bronze medals. Raghav Sawhney, Raghav Gandhotra, Manpreet Singh, Nitin Kumar participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Boys) U-16 and won 2 Bronze medals. Sheena Ganjoo, Ashmita Sharma, Arshiya Kalra, Sumedha Choudhary participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Girls) U-14 and won 2 silver. Aakriti Gulati, Urvashi Sharma, Shaivya Manhas, Iksha Sambyal participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Girls) U-16 and won 2 Gold medals. Oshin Belove, Robina Kohli, Hemani Goswami, Tanisha Thaploo participated in 4 x 100 mtrs. Free style Relay and Medly Relay (Girls) U-19 and won 2 Bronze. Other students who also participated in this meet are Swarn Singh, Vishal Ganjo, Sharv Raina, Kinshuk Safaya.
The following students have been elected for the National which will be held at Chennai from 30th Oct. to 4th Nov.

Principal of K.C. Public School Jorawar Singh congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Swimming Coaches Vikas Sambyal and Babita Rani in a special assembly organized in the school to sfelicitate the medal winners.
