| Villager abducted, strangulated to death | | | Early Times Reporter

Police recovered body of a villager, who is presumed to have been murdered, in Keller area of Pulwama district.
Police said that the deceased, identified as 37 yr old Abdul Rashid Magray son of Ghulam Rasool of Chak-I- Keller was abducted by some unidentified persons few days ago.
His body was noticed by the locals at Vishkhal Kralchak, who informed the police, an official spokesman told adding, a police team was deputed on the spot who took the body to the nearby hospital for postmortem.
It was reliably learnt that the body bears torture marks and preliminary investigations have suggested that the victim has been strangulated to death.
However, police said that it has registered a case and can comment on the matter only after the postmortem report is received.
Meanwhile, a 65 year old unidentified woman was brought to SKIMS Soura in serious condition by the locals.
Police said that some people noticed the woman lying unconscious at Bus Stand Kulgam. They rushed her to SKIMS, where she was struggling between life and death
