Out of a total of 10 districts only five turned up for the Divisional level inter-district table tennis (boys and girls) competitions started today under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here.
However, the competition was dominated by those representing districts of Jammu and Poonch in all the three age groups of under-14, under-17 and under-19 year.
In the two-day event, first and second round matches were played today. The event will close tomorrow with the holding of finals in the afternoon.

Under-14 boys singles: Aman of Poonch bt Zaffar Iqbal of Doda 11-2, 11-6; Apoorv of Jammu bt Ankit of Udhampur 11-4, 10-12, 11-4; Pallav of Jammu bt Seharsh of Udhampur 11-2, 11-3; Pardh of Jammu bt Rohit of Udhampur 11-2, 11-3.
Under-17 year boys singles: Shorya of Jammu bt Rohit Pal of Udhampur 11-9, 12-10; Sahil of Jammu bt Mohit Jamwal of Udhampur 11-5, 11-5; Pranav of Jammu bt Sourav Sharma of Udhampur 12-14, 11-7, 11-7; Anupam Ghai of Poonch bt Sarmad of Doda 11-3, 11-5; Shivam of Poonch bt Mudassir of Doda 12-10, 11-13, 12-10; Mohit Sasan of Poonch bt Vikas of Doda 11-3, 11-3.
