| Truck seized with fire crackers | | | Early Times Reporter

The Deputy Excise Commissioner, who is also holding the additional charge of Deputy Commissioner Commercial Taxes, seized a truck loaded with fire crackers at Lakhanpur check post .
During physical checking at Toll Post, a truck bearing No PB02H/9805 belonging to M/s Shakti Motors Transport Service carrying 91 cartons without documents was seized.. Besides, invoice of fire crackers packed in 91 cartons were also found highly undervalued. After seizure of goods under the J&K VAT Act, 2005, notices have been issued to two Jammu based dealers and the driver for carrying the goods without documents.
