| IRP aspirants demand early release of selection list | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu|Sep 20 A 2006 batch IRP aspirants from Jammu- Kathu range demanded declaration of the final selection list which has been pending since December last year and blamed the concerned authorities for spoiling future of the young generation. Worthwhile to mention here that the government of Jammu and Kashmir has cancelled the selection list of all those candidates belonging to Jammu and Kathu districts in December last year after the allegation were leveled against the then DIG Jammu Kathu range for his bungling in the selection list. A Press conference was today organized by these aspirants in collaboration with Bhartiya Janta Morcha Jammu Kashmir in which they sought the declaration of the result. They further said that the then DIG Niaz Mehmood has got a clean chit from the High court after being suspended and the state government reinstated him but the unfortunate candidates are still awaiting for the fait of their future. Crticizing the state government for its attitude towards the young generation, these aspirants warned the state government that if there result is not declared within 15 days they would be compelled to launch the protest.
