Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee (GPC) Poonch, on behalf of the entire Sikh community of border district, has hailed the government decision of reopening University Campus at Poonch with sub office at Surankot.
The GPC in an extra ordinary meeting chaired by S. Narinder Singh, President, GPC Poonch has expressed gratitude of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for announcing setting up University Campus at the border district, besides allocating special grants from the CM’s Fund for restoration and renovation of Sheesh Mahal, Town Hall and Sports Stadium in the district. The renovation work on these buildings will help to restore the glory of this historical township, the meeting observed.
