| Kidnaper Principal arrested | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 20 Bari Brahmna police today arrested Principal of a private school, involved in kidnapping and forcibly taken a student of the school out of state some days back. According to reports police received specific information that the principal was hiding in the Vijaypur area, a police team from Bari Brahmna police station swung into action and arrested him while he was about to board an inter-state bus at the National Highway. Sources said during interrogation, he confessed his guilt. Here it is to be mentioned that on September 9, the family members of the 19- year old girl namely Natasha Bamotra daughter of Rakesh Kumar resident of Bari Brahamana had lodged a complaint in police station Bari Brahamana that 45 year Rakesh Singh Jamwal son of Attar Singh Jamwal, resident of Badodi and Principal of the New Light High Secondary School, kidnapped their daughter from the area when she was on way to Jammu. They told police the girl was also student of the said school. Police after receiving the complaint, registered a case under section 366 RPC under FIR No 76/2007 and started investigation. Reports said on September 12 kidnapped girl telephoned her house and told the family members that she is in Himachal Pradesh, after receiving the phone call, the family members inform the police and police recovered the girl from a hotel in Himachal Pradesh while the Principal managed to escape from the spot. Sources said the girl during interrogation told police that the Principal forcibly kidnapped her and took her out of state. Sources said police after the recording the statement of the girl launched a hunt to nab the Principal and today arrested him.
