People’s Democratic Party in a meeting held at its regional office here condoled the sad demise of veteran freedom fighter of the state S. Sant Singh Tegh, who breathed his last on Sunday.
Paying rich tributes to Lt. Sant Singh Tegh the speakers recalled the selfless contribution of veteran leader in the freedom struggle of the country who worked for the up-liftment of the people and welfare of the weaker sections of the society. Two minutes silence was observed for peace of the departed soul.
Those present in the meeting were State Vice President/ MLC Ved Mahajan, General Secretary Daman Bhasin, S.Tarlok Singh Bajwa, MP, State Secretaries Asgar Ali and Renu Azad, Romesh Koul, Surjeet Kour, Iqbal Milk, Baldev Slathia Ashok Jogi, Harmeet Singh, Varinder Sonu, Sohit Sharma, Ahsan Mirza.
