‘Aanchal’ a book written in Dogri language by. Dr. Khem Raj Sharma was released here today.
The writer in the book has highlighted in detail history of Samba and it’s adjoining area, and history of two famous laks Mansar and Surinsar mentioned in Mahabarta. The book also gave description of famous and old temples, mosque and gurdenasa of the area. The book will be very beneficial for tourist and to students of history, Dr. Nirmal Singh HOD history department was a chief guest on the occasion.
A function was organized at press club here today in this regard which was attended by Prof. Archan Kesar, director school education, A.K. Raina, Nissar Ahmad, Sushma Devi, Dr. Sarita Dr. S.S. Manhas and other distinguish personalities.
