Rajouri, Aug 30: Brahman Sabha Rajouri laid foundation stone of Bhagwan Parshuram tample at Dhangri village of Rajouri district here today. According to press release, the overall function organised under the supervision of Brahman Sabha Rajouri where a large number of Brahman community participated while President of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Ved Parkash Sharma along with prominent personalities, Ex-Sarpanches, Retd. Army personal educationists were also present during the ceremony.
Addressing the gathering, speakers appealed to the people of the state to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood. Various problems of the community were also discussed and several resolutions were passed pertaining to Brahman community. Those who were present on the occasion included Sajan Khajuria, Advocate Rajesh Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, Advocate P.C Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, and many others.
