Two narco-peddlers held with 60 grams heroin 8/30/2016 11:08:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30: Team of Special Operation Group (SOG) along with Akhnoor police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 60 grams of heroin from their possession at Khuga Morh in Akhnoor. "The accused have been identified as Mushraf Pravez son of Kabir Hussain of Arhi, as Driver Tehsil Mendhar and second passenger namely Yasir Hussain son of Tanvir Hussain of Guldh, Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch, police spokesperson said Police spokesman said, "On specific information, police raised a naka at Khuga Morh and intercepted one Swift Dezire car bearing temporary registration number JMU-BH-0476. "During search team recovered 60 grams of heroin from the possession of above mentioned duo travelling in car", said a police adding that the arrested during preliminary questioning revealed that they were on their way to supply the consignment in Jammu city. Later, SOG handed over the duo along with consignment to Police Station Akhnoor for due legal action. Accordingly a case under FIR No. 125/2016 u/s 8/22/23 NDPS Act has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation of the case is going on to ascertain identities of other associates of the arrested.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
