Inconvenience due to officers' absence rued

Rajouri, Sept 2: Despite tall claims of government of providing all types of facilities to people at their doorsteps, the tehsil office Mandi depicts the other side of the story where majority of offices often remain closed over one or other reason as a result people who travel from far flung areas of Mandi to visit tehsil complex have to suffer huge inconvenience due to absence of officers. Many department offices remains closed, locals said. When contacted, Tehsildar Mandi said that he will enquire about the matter and an action would be taken against absentees. Sadar Din, a resident of Loran, while talking to Early Times, said, "DC Poonch should take action against erring officers for continue absence of some officials in tehsil office Mandi. People are suffering and nobody is looking after these issues, he alleged.
