Sanjeevni Sharda Kendra celebrates its 'foundation day' 9/9/2016 11:19:31 PM Jammu, Sept 9: Sanjeevni Sharda Kendra celebrated its Foundation day which coincides with auspicious occasion of Sharda Ashtami here today in which hundreds of people from all walks of life took part in the impressive function. On this occasion eminent singer, Rajesh Khar enthralled the gathering with his soulful voice and by presenting patriotic songs in the function while Dr Maharaj Krishen 'Bharat' presented a brief paper on Radio Sharda. During the proceedings annual Sharda Purskaar was presented to Sharda Radio by the special invitee. Director of the Radio Sharda, Ramesh Hangloo received the Sharda Purskaar. The chief guest also distributed certificates to the passed out students of Sharda computer institute. Later a book titled - Kashmiri Sarswat Bhramins, authored by noted academicians Dr K N Pandita was also released on the occasion. Dr KN Pandita in his remarks underlined the historical essence of Goddess Sharda in the context of Indian civilization.
