Three shops and a cigarette khoka gutted in fire last night due to electric short circuit at Dayalachak area in Hiranagar of Kathua district in which material lakhs of rupees burnt.
According to reports last night a fire accidentally broke in the shop of Bua Ditta due to electric short circuit engulfing two adjacent shops at Dayalachak on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway. The fire tenders rushed to the spot and after a long operation managed to control the fire. Reports said material worth about Rs. five lakhs gutted in the fire. Police has also registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter.
