| BJP workers protest over Ram Setu issue | | | Vijaypur | Sep 23 Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) workers today burned an effigy of UPA chairperson and Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi demanding an apology for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus over Ram Setu issue here today. Over 200 BJP workers led by the Chander Prakash Ganga BJP leader from Vijaypur blocked Jammu-Panthakote highway here and burnt Sonia Gandhi's effigy in protest over Ram Setu issue. Raising anti-Congress and anti-government slogans BJP activists sat on the highway and blocked it for over an hour. They also demanded apology from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi for hurting the feelings of Hindus.
