| Lecturer, doctor held for trespassing, attempt to murder | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 12: Police today arrested a lecturer, his medico brother and their mother who allegedly had trespassed in a house and made murderous attack on the couple.
Police have registered a case in this regard.
Police sources said, "A lecturer namely Ravinder Singh, his brother Sanjay Kumar (a Doctor) both sons of Hans Raj and their mother Preeta Devi, all residents of Tensna Bhadarwah, were arrested in a case registered under FIR No 104/2016 u/s 452, 307 r/w 34 of RPC registered in Police Station Bhadarwah."
Giving details in this regard, sources said that the accused allegedly forcibly entered the house of one Ram Raj and attacked the complainant and his wife with iron rods, fists and blows leaving them after being rescued by some VDC members of the village."
They said the Police of Police Post Bhalla have arrested the accused persons Ravinder Singh, his brother Sanjay Kumar both sons of Hans Raj and mother Preeta Devi, all residents of Tensna Bhadarwah whereas further investigation in the matter is in progress. |
