| Milchar Front demands immediate construction of Kahara-Jai road | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep23 Jammu and Kashmir Milchar Front has regretted that despite Chief Minister’s announcement in April last that work on first phase of Kahara-Jai road would commence from May, but till date no work has been executed on this vital road in Bhaderwah area. The Front in a meeting held here under the chairmanship of its General Secretary Kuldeep Kumar discussed the problems facing the people of the area and reiterated its demand for construction of the road linking the famous tourist resort Jai in Bhaderwah area. The meeting regretted that despite lapse of nearly five months, no work has been started on this road despite the CM’s announcement. The meeting also demanded up gradation of 57 year old Primary school Joura Kalan, High school Halaran and middle school Kahara, besides up gradation of Health Sub centre Joura Kalana to PHC. The meeting urged the Chief Minister to consider the genuine demands of the people of the area and issue necessary instructions for their early redressal. The meeting among others was attended by Om Raj Bhall, Balkrishan Kotwal, Satish Manhas, Ravinder Kumar, Balwant Singh and Mohinder Singh.
